The annual summit did not take place in Cape Town ,South Africa, after the Nobel's Women Initiative members refused to attend and skipped this meeting.

This annual summit was supposed to be hold in Cape Town ,South Africa ,on October 13th, 2014 including more than thirty Nobel peace prize laureates among them all the female laureates as well.

The organization believed that the South African government succumbed to the political pressure from china in order not to issue the visa to Dalai Lama.
